Well, I grew up dodging raindrops in Seattle, WA. Under those eternally gray skies, I spent four years studying creative writing at the University of Washington.
Afterward, I worked for a handful of scrappy startups – starting as a coffee-fetching intern and working my way up to the Head of Digital Marketing.
I managed multiple social media channels, wrote hundreds of blog posts, and crafted email marketing campaigns read by millions of people.
Everything was going well…and then, I caught a little bug. The travel kind. It told me to GTFO of the city and see the world.
I tried not to listen…
But finally, I gave in.
I sold all my stuff and bought a one-way ticket all the way across the world. I told everyone I was moving to Spain for a year. Ha.
Five years later, I’m still here – soaking up the sun, taking siestas (yes, they are real!), and going for tapas as much as humanly possible.
Oh yeah, and running No-Fluff Copy, of course.
